2017 at NOOR was a wonderful year full of fairy-tale weddings, magical events, precious moments, tears of joy, endless laughter and dancing into the wee hours. Our delightful couple Jessica & Miko were married at NOOR in May and had planned an outdoor ceremony on the Terrace and an indoor reception in the Sofia Ballroom, but when unexpected rain arrived the NOOR team calmly and efficiently moved the ceremony to the Ella Ballroom and Miko & Jessica’s wedding went ahead as planned. The sun didn’t shine outside that day but the light of their love more than made up for it, captured beautifully by Photographer Joe Kim Studio. Our lovely couple Danielle & Bobby held their wedding ceremony and reception in NOOR’s Sofia Ballroom. They spoke their vows under a canopy of pink, white and blush roses to the delight of their teary-eyed guests. These two were simply radiant and their joy was infectious as they danced the night away with family and friends. We are so grateful to Tony Le Films for sharing the photos with us, a wonderful reminder of the beautiful day in July that will forever belong to our lovebirds Danielle & Bobby. We’re celebrating Halloween this year with a post about one of the most artistic, creative and captivating weddings to grace our ballrooms! Danika & Monique’s spectacular Halloween wedding was dark, dramatic and full of the most elaborate details, from Danika’s custom designed hand-made dress by Dark Garden Unique Corsetry which took over a year to make, to specially crafted cocktails. Burlesque dancers further added to the theatrics and the wedding guests outdid themselves with costumes that wouldn’t look out of place on a spooky Hollywood movie set. Having been childhood friends Sophia and Sanjay later lost touch, only to be reunited once more as adults where their friendship blossomed into romance. They married in May and held their reception in Noor’s Sofia Ballroom surrounded by friends and family in a truly joyful celebration. Guests each received a candle and a quote, perfect sentiments for the love and light which radiated from this very special couple. It’s hard to imagine a more elegant affair than Tara & Eli’s picture perfect wedding in Noor’s Sofia Ballroom. These two lovebirds were simply radiant and we were so delighted they chose to begin a new chapter in their love story at Noor. So why were the guests at Jasmid’s celebration in Noor’s Ella Ballroom so shocked? The simple answer is that they had been invited to a particular event thinking it was one thing, and then part way through the evening they realized it was something else entirely! Jasmid celebrated her 30th birthday on March 12, 2016 and her friends and family were only too happy to celebrate with her! Here at Noor our motto is “We do it all with love“, so when two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet celebrated their wedding at Noor you can guarantee there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! It was a beautiful spring day in Pasadena for Ally & Eddy’s Wedding with an azure blue sky and a gentle breeze on the Noor Terrace. These two lovebirds spoke their vows in a perfect ceremony by the terrace fountain with a teary eyed bridal party looking on. Their wedding color palette of shades of pink, blush and ivory was gorgeous, just take a look at their stunning bouquet’s and centerpieces pictured below by Violette’s Flowers.
