On April 15, NOOR was permitted to open its doors and once more begin celebrating your most joyous events. As a result, we have been welcoming 2021 and 2022 couples into our ballrooms and event spaces for tours and meetings. With wedding planning in full swing, we are once again opening our beloved photo albums to share some of our wonderful memories from past weddings at NOOR and provide some wedding inspiration from real weddings that took place in our Sofia and Ella Ballrooms, and our outdoor spaces the NOOR Terrace and Sofia Balcony. With two beautiful ballrooms NOOR isn’t considered an outdoor event space, but did you know NOOR also has two breathtaking outdoor wedding venues? The combination allows both wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions to take place in the same location, removing travel headaches from wedding plans and allowing more dedicated time for celebrating. Couples often elect to have an outdoor wedding ceremony followed by an indoor reception here at NOOR, and sometimes couples who love the great outdoors decide to go outdoor for both. Alternative weddings are often a feast of color and style and we have enjoyed many weddings with a unique theme or decor here at NOOR over the years. The level of “alternative” varies and doesn’t necessarily mean every aspect of the wedding strays from the traditional. Some of our couples just love to thread their own individuality through their weddings without it being a full blown alternative affair. We were so excited to learn that Emily & Sung’s beautiful NOOR wedding was featured in the latest issue of Ceremony Magazine. Ari & Jordan’s September Wedding was full of fall colors and exquisite details from the custom watercolor invitations to the wedding ceremony chuppah. While a blush & burgundy palette reminded us of the season in the most beautiful way. Just check out those mismatched bridesmaids dresses! Burgundy rules here but each bridesmaid gets to show her personality with a uniquely styled neckline.
